Ada Jo Mann
Ada Jo Mann is an international and organization development consultant with more than 40 years of experience in the government, non-profit and private sectors.
She is one of the pioneers in the development of Appreciative Inquiry, a strength-based, participatory approach to organization development. Her areas of expertise include people-centered approaches to change management, program development and strategic planning; program evaluation; institutional and inter-organizational development; team-building, summit facilitation, and training. She has designed and led numerous highly effective large group participatory processes for working with multiple stakeholders in non-profits, businesses and associations. She has directed or participated in short and long term assignments in over 50 African, Asian, Caribbean, Central and South American and European countries.
For seven years she was Director of a multi-million dollar grant from the U.S. Agency for International Development to improve the organizational capacity of non-governmental organizations in all regions of the world. Through her work Mann has increased the managerial capacities of a broad range of institutions including government agencies, bilateral and multilateral international development agencies, NGOs and CBOs.
